Small Group Opportunities!
 
Soul Café Men’s Breakfast - Meets every Wednesday morning at 7:00 AM in Wesley Hall.  This  interdenominational group of men share breakfast, study a book or a book of the Bible (Currently they are working their way through the Book of Acts), and offer prayer for those in need of prayer support.  We usually finish by around 8:00 AM.  Some of the guys have to be to work by 8:00 AM, so they depart a little early.  All men, regardless of age, are welcome to attend!  Just come hungry and bring your Bible. 
 
Wednesday Afternoon Women’s Study - Meets every Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 PM in the Fireside Classroom.  Alicia Van Bockern is the facilitator for this study group.  This interdenominational group usually does a book study.  On 2/5/20 they will begin Joanna Weaver’s  book entitled “Lazarus Awakening - Finding Your Place In The Heart Of God.”  This small group spends a portion of each gathering remembering those in our community in need of prayer support.  All women in our community are welcome to attend!  Spread the word about this outstanding small group study . 
 
Wednesday Night Adult Study
- Meets every Wednesday night at 6:30 PM in the Church Library.  Rhonda Trube is currently facilitating the study.  The are reading through and discussing Max  Lucado’s book entitled “Unshakeable Hope.”  This small group is also an interdenominational group designed to give adults and opportunity for study and fellowship while children and participating in Chi Alpha.  Everyone is welcome! 
 
Saturday Morning “Walk To Emmaus” Reunion Group - This small group had its origins in “Walk To Emmaus.”  They meet every Saturday morning at Laura’s Lattes at 8:00 AM.  They spend time in prayer, and addressing these main questions: At what moment this past week did you feel closest to Christ?  At what moment this week did you feel you were responding to God’s call to be a  disciple?  Where did you participate this week in being the church, the heartbeat of Christ?  When was your faith tested this week through failure?  What is your plan for prayer, study, and action for the week to come?  Consider attending the “Walk To Emmaus” and joining this outstanding Reunion Group. 

Sunday Morning Adult Study - Meets on Sunday morning at 8:30 AM in the Fireside Classroom.  Lynette Hardy is the facilitator for this group.  They are currently studying Adam Hamilton’s book entitled “Faithful - Christmas Through The Eyes Of Joseph.”  The study is open to anyone!  Why not spend some time with other adults studying the foundational aspects of our faith?   
 
Young Adult Study - We are starting up a new bible study and would love to have you join us! Our first gathering will be on Thursday, January 30th, 6:30-8:00 in the Church Library. We will be using Chip Ingram’s book with video sessions called “Why I Believe.” Treats and Childcare provided! R.S.V.P. is not required but highly encouraged. Regular meeting day/timeframe to be determined at our first gathering. Please contact us if you have questions or need more information! The United Methodist Men
- Meet the first Sunday of every month (September through May) at 8:00am for breakfast and fellowship in Wesley Hall.  If you like bacon, this is the group for you.  The men are active in church service projects.  The men's annual Turkey Supper is a highlight of the church year.   The funds raised through the Turkey Supper sponsor scholarships for our graduating high school seniors.  Join us for breakfast and become part of this fun group.  
 
The United Methodist Women
- The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.  This group is open to all women that share a passion for social action and missions, both locally and abroad.  They meet throughout the year to hear speakers on issues that are relevant to our community and our world. 
 
United Methodist Women’s Circles -
These small groups do a variety of devotional studies and book studies.  They are open to all the women of the church. Hallelujah - Meets on the third Monday of the month at 7:00 PM in the Fireside Room Morning Glories - Meets  on the first Sunday of the month at 8:00 AM in the Fireside Room Praise - Meets on the first Thursday of the month at 1:30 PM in the Fireside Room Daylilies - Meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 2:00 PM in the Fireside Room 
 
United Methodist Youth Fellowship
- Meets weekly (September—May) on Wednesday evenings at 6:15pm.   We do many fun activities throughout the year including the Corn Maze, Thunder Road, Stampede Faith and Family Night, Air Madness, Mission Trips, Tubing, Camping Trips, Lock-Ins, and many more.  Weekly meetings include devotional time and a variety of studies to grow in the faith.  All youth in the church and community are welcome!  
 
Confirmation Class - Meets weekly (September - May) on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM.  This group meets in the Church Library.  This group studies material to assist our 6th, 7th, and 8th graders grow in their faith and prepare themselves for a public affirmation of their faith.  We use the Cokesbury material called “Confirm.”  All 6th, 7th and 8th graders are encouraged to be participants.
